Suggestions as they type, a full address when they pick
As a customer types part of an address, a street or a business name, AddressBrain returns matching delivery points from Royal Mail's Postcode Address File, drawn from around 32 million addresses across 1.8 million postcodes. Flats, house names, businesses and new builds all appear in the suggestions.
When they pick a suggestion, a second call returns the full record as separate fields: sub-building name, building name or number, thoroughfare, dependent locality, post town and postcode. Your checkout, CRM or label printer gets data it can store and use straight away.
