Loqate's pay-as-you-go UK address capture runs from 7.3p per lookup on a £50 top-up to 4.2p at £1,000 (Loqate UK pricing, October 2026). AddressBrain's monthly plans start at 4.9p and fall to 3.0p on the Advanced plan, with volume pricing above that.
Credits that expire vs a monthly allowance
Loqate credits are valid for 12 months after purchase. AddressBrain plans are monthly with a fixed allowance, so you know the bill before the month starts and can move plan when volume changes.

UK-only by design
Every AddressBrain response is a PAF-formatted UK address with sub-building, building name, thoroughfare, post town and postcode in their own fields, plus latitude and longitude. No global schema to map UK edge cases onto.
Data and licensing
Both are Royal Mail licensed. Only one is built around it.
Loqate and AddressBrain both license Royal Mail's Postcode Address File. The difference is what sits around it. Loqate wraps PAF in a 250-country platform; AddressBrain models the UK address as it actually exists, so flats, house names and new builds come back correctly first time.
